Claudia Angela Jordan (born April 12, 1973) is an American actress, model, reality television, and radio presenter.

She is best known for her appearances on the US version of Deal Or No Deal and The Price Is Right, as well as her appearance on Celebrity Apprentice seasons 2 and 6.

For its seventh season, Jordan appeared on Bravo's reality television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Early life

Jordan was born in Providence, Rhode Island, to an Italian mother and an African-American father. Claudia's parents met while her father was in the United States Air Force, stationed in Brindisi, Italy. When Jordan was in high school in Rhode Island, he was a sprinter and received all-state honors in track and field. Jordan competed in three junior Olympics and in college became an All-American sprinter in the 400-meter relay.

Career

Jordan captured the Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 1990 pageant and represented Rhode Island. She won the Miss Rhode Island USA award in 1997, becoming the second African-American woman to hold the title. She appeared at Miss USA 1997, where she came in 10th place in the top 10. She appeared in music videos for Backstreet Boys, Ginuwine, Fabolous, Charlie Wilson, Joe Wilson, Chico DeBarge, D'Angelo, Coolio, Master P, Ludacris, and Kenny Lattimore. She has worked as a reporter at the Providence American newspaper and as a Boston television station WHDH-TV. Coors Light, Sears, Pepsi, Visa, Microsoft, and Mountain Dew have all had her appearances in national television commercials.

On Dog Eat Dog, she appeared as a contestant. Jordan appeared on Deal or No Deal before appearing on the CBS game show The Price Is Right from 2001 to 2003. No. 17 she appeared on Deal or no Deal is holding a case. All four seasons except for one.

Jordan appeared on the second season of Celebrity Apprenticeship. Celebrities raise money for a charity of their choice; Jordan selected the NAPSAC Foundation as her charity in the series. She was later asked to return to compete on the All-Star version of Celebrity Apprenticeship. Apprentice host Donald Trump later recruited her to co-host the Miss Universe 2009 pageant from the Bahamas with Billy Bush. Jordan's first hosting gig was with Fox Sports West as a red carpet reporter for 54321 and also appeared on The Best Damn Sports Show Period.

For two seasons, The Style Network and The Modern Girl's Guide to Life co-host. After that, she was invited to BET's late night sports show Ballers, alongside John Salley, Guy Torry, and Hugh Douglas. Jordan was also a standout on the satellite radio show The Foxhole with Jamie Foxx, who then gave her her own weekly show on Sirius/XM Radio on The Foxxhole, "The Claudia Jordan Show." "Reach Around Radio" was also co-hosted by Jordan. Jordan co-anchored Tameka Cottle's talk show Tiny's Tonight alongside Tamar Braxton and rapper Trina. On VH1, the television pilot appeared in December 2012. The Summer of Adventure is also a travel show for AT&T called The Summer of Adventure by Jordan. Jordan will be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a main housewife for its seventh season while simultaneously appearing as a co-host on the nationally syndicated Rickey Smiley Morning Show in October 2014. Jordan is also a regular contributor to CNN and HLN. She went on to appear in TV One's The Next 15 and host her own morning show in Dallas, The Morning Rush, the top-rated R&B Morning show in Dallas. Claudia Jordan now has her own talk show on a Fox Soul program called Out Loud.
