Wheeldon revealed the formation of Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company, a transatlantic corporation with a New York City headquarters and a Sadler's Wells Theatre in London, in November 2006. The fifteen-minute ballet, choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon and Edwaard Liang, featured twelve dancers, as well as live music and song by Wainwright, who performed when intermingling with the dancers. In February, 2010, Morphoses resigned, and Morphoses will continue to produce ballets without his name.
