A vision of United's future? Sir Jim Ratcliffe's essay on how he would have led Chelsea gives an insight into what Red Devils fans might have expected after a £1.3 billion contract, insisting he would not be involved in it for profit and will compete with Europe's best club

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 24, 2023
Sir Jim Ratcliffe may have already speculated at the Man United fans after completing his 25 percent purchase of the club, having demonstrated how he would manage a football team when he attempted to buy Chelsea last year. Man United revealed on Christmas Eve that the billionaire Ineos owner had acquired a majority interest in the Red Devils after negotiating an agreement with the Glazer family. 'I'm delighted that we've been able to reach an agreement with the Manchester United Board that delegates us leadership of the club's football operations,' Ratcliffe said.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is FINALLY stepping through the door of English football, so if he went from being a big brother to a £16.8 billion fortune, will he be able to bring Man United back to life?

Fans will now be able to dream of a new age as Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the current owner of Manchester United, ratifies his 25 percent purchase for £1.3 billion. The Glazers, unfortunately for supporters, are still in place for the time being, but they do now have a fiercely competitive boyhood fan who thrives when the odds are against him in Ratcliffe, who will take over football operations alongside his INEOS staff. Ratcliffe has never had life simpler, spent the first ten years of his life in Failsworth, a small town between Manchester and Oldham, on Dunkerley Avenue.

Christophe Galtier, a former PSG coach, has been cleared of numerous allegations of racial profiling within his team in charge of Nice

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 21, 2023
Christophe Galtier, a former Paris Saint-Germain coach, has been cleared of racial charges levied against him during his time as the manager of Ligue 1 side Nice. Galtier was taken into police detention in June, near the end of his service with the Parisian giants, and he was charged with "moral harrassment and discrimination based on affiliation or non-membership of an ethnic group," despite numerous allegations of racial discrimination and Islamophobia. The allegations stemmed from a leaked email sent by then-director of football Julien Fournier to INEOS director of sport Sir Dave Brailsford, wherein Fournier relates a meeting with Galtier.
