Christopher Thomas Henchy (born March 23, 1964) is an American screenwriter and producer.
He is best known for his role as a creative collaborator with Will Ferrell, including co-creating the website Funny or Die and writing several Ferrell films, including Land of the Lost, The Other Guys, and Campaign.
Early life
Henchy was born in New York City to Patricia and Michael Henchy, Ret. Col. He was born in Augusta, Georgia, and attended Saint Mary on the Hill Catholic School. He graduated from Friendswood High School. He obtained a B.S. degree at the University of New Mexico, where he earned his bachelor's degree. She earned a degree in finance and was a founder of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chapter.

Henchy migrated to New York City and spent time on Wall Street after graduating. He left his career and moved to comedy. He was recruited by MTV and later wrote monologue jokes for Garry Shandling's The Larry Sanders Show.
In 1996, Henchy began to write for Campus Cops. Henchy created and produced the television program Battery Park, which starred Elizabeth Perkins, after writing for a few television specials and some guest-writing stints on series.
Henchy, a writer and producer for television sitcoms Spin City and Life With Bonnie, was a writer and producer. Marco Pennette and Henchy developed the sitcom I'm with Her, which was loosely based on Henchy's marriage with wife Brooke Shields. After one season, ABC had cancelled the show. Henchy became Entourage's co-executive producer and a director on HBO's Eastbound & Down. He, Will Ferrell, and Adam McKay co-founded the website Funny or Die. Henchy wrote The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. He is credited with the writing of Land of the Lost, The Other Guys, and The Campaign, which he also co-produced in 2009. Henchy had been confirmed to produce a feature-length film for the television series Impractical Jokers in 2018. It was released in February 2020 under the title Impractical Jokers: The Movie.
