Cho Yeo-jeong Career

Life and career

Cho Yeo-jeong was born in Seoul, South Korea. She debuted as a CeCi Magazine cover girl at the age of 16, 1996, and started actively acting in 1999. Despite being surrounded by drama series, music videos, and TV commercials since, she remained anonymous. She was also dissatisfied with her limited roles at this time.

In the erotic period drama The Servant, Then Chooe stepped into the spotlight in 2010 by playing as the vivacious Joseon woman of lower class. A number of actresses had turned down the R-rated film, which was a newly revised and tragic interpretation of Korea's beloved folktale The Story of Chunhyang, because it contained too many sex scenes. Cho, on the other hand, seized the opportunity, and it was a major leap forward in her career. Cho successfully avoided being "another pretty face" in Korea's entertainment scene upon its premiere.

Cho starred in the hit cable series I Need Romance, a sexually candid and funny comedy about a group of single thirty-something girlfriends struggling in Seoul's dating scene, which boasted sleek and slick production values.

Few would have expected her to appear in another period drama that needed complete nudity, as doing so might have stigmatized her in Korea's film industry. Despite the widespread suspicions that she was "going nude too often," the actress in 2012 chose another period drama with explicit sex scenes. She had adored director Kim Dae-seung's work and wanted to work with him, so after reading his new script, she pursued her role as The Concubine's complicated titular character. Despite the hype, the film was lauded by experts. Cho said in an interview with the film that she wanted to be seen as an adventurous and mysterious actress.

Cho played the vivacious and cheery daughter of a Busan gangster who falls in love with the amnesiac undercover prosecutor living with them in the 2012 romantic comedy series Haeundae Lovers. Cho's book Healing Beauty was published a year later, offering tips and advice on health and beauty based on her knowledge of how she earned her wealth as an actress over her 16-year career.

Cho signed a new deal with Bom Entertainment in 2013 when her Didim531 deal was still in place. Choker was advised by the Korea Entertainment Management Association not to work with both companies, and she joined Neos Entertainment in 2014.

Cho appeared in two films in 2014. In another erotic period film titled Obsessed, she reunited with director Kim Dae-woo (The Servant). In The Target, a French action-thriller Point Blank remade, she also played an abducted wife.

Cho performed in Casa Amor: Exclusive for Ladies, which she said made her realize "how gratifying it is to see people laughing because of me." "Casa Amor: The First Film I've Made in a Long Time" focuses on women, according to her. "I hope that, building on the success of this film, more films involving women's voices and experiences are made."

Cho's first television series of 2020, Cheat On Me If You Can since she was the woman of 9.9 billion dollars in 2019.
