Chris Hardwick can be abused emotionally too. In the long breakup text he sent to his then-girlfriend (now relationship abuse suspect) Chloe Dykstra in 2014, he sure made himself seem to be doing it. The letter describes how she was devastated after she cheated on Sam, a man named Sam, and how she tried to reach him afterward to no avail. All of that was wrong with their relationship, including his tendencies to be a "pain in the ass" who is "insecure and angry." After going on holiday, Hardwick said the Just Cos host led him to believe she wanted to get back to work, but she said this was the last time he called Dykstra, and she responded with several texts begging to tell her side of the story. When Hardwick didn’t reply back, she simply told him: "I will always love you."

Chloe Dykstra's revelations about relationship abuse went viral yesterday, with many readers guessing that she was writing about ex Chris Hardwick even without mentioning him by name. Late last night, Hardwick finally responded to the serious allegations, suggesting it was him who was being charged by Dykstra, but also denying ever doing the things she denied. Our three-year relationship was not symphonious — we were not a good match and argued — even shouted at each other — but I loved her and did my best to uplift and assist her as a partner and companion in any way, and at no time did I sexually assault her. Chloe cheated on me while we were together, and I ended the relationship. For several weeks after we broke up, she begged me to get back to me, and even told me she wanted to have children with me,'build a life' with me,' but I didn't want to be with someone who was unfaithful. I'm devastated to learn that she is now accusing me of conduct that did not occur. I was blindsided by her blog and had aspired for her to be the best for her. I do not endorse any sort of mistreatment of women as a husband, son, and potential father.
