After having some success writing lyrics for Warner/Chappell, See started his ChesterSee YouTube channel in 2007. The channel primarily consists of comedies, short films, and cover songs. He is a member of the Maker Studios multi-channel network. Nice Guys, a music video made by YouTubers Nigahiga and Kevin Wu, in 2011. See, in 2012, see the YOMYOMF YouTube channel, alongside YouTubers Nigahiga and Kevin Wu, as well as film director Justin Lin. Later this year, the channel unveiled an internet-only reality television talent show called Internet Icon; See the first season. See was a contestant on season 2 of D-trix's Dance Showdown later this year.

See was the executive producer for the online-only NBC and AwesomenessTV produced musical comedy series Side Effects in 2013; he also appeared as Keith in eight episodes over two seasons. In a supporting role alongside Grace Helbig, Mamrie Hart, and Hannah Hart, See was cast as Jeff Sanford in the comedy film Camp Takota in the United States. Stacee Jaxx appeared in a Broadway production of Rock of Ages from October 27, 2014 to January 4, 2015.
