Chantelle Vivien Houghton (born 21 August 1983) is an English television personality, glamour model, television presenter, columnist, and novelist.
In 2006, she became the first "non-celebrity" to appear in Channel 4's reality show Celebrity Big Brother, beating ten celebrities (Michael Barrymore, Maggot, Pete Burns, Traci Bingham, Dennis Rodman, George Galloway, Faria Alam, and Jodie Marsh), winning a £25,000 draw.

Early life
Houghton was born in Wickford, Essex, England, on August 21st, 1983, to her parents Allan and Vivien, and she has an older brother, Gregg. She attended Bromfords School in Wickford, the same school where Big Brother 8 champion Brian Belo attended many years later. She left school at the age of 15 with seven GCSEs, then worked in a bank and as an insurance consultant.
Personal life
On April 11, 2006, Houghton revealed her commitment to Preston. Each has a £300,000 contract. They were married on August 25, 2006 at Dartmouth House in Mayfair, London, according to a newspaper.
The couple lived in Preston, Brighton, after their honeymoon. Houghton admitted that Preston told her one month after the fact that he did not want to marry her. The couple continued to appear in various publications, with Houghton losing weight and coloring her hair brunette to look more like Preston's former fiancée Camille.
They announced in a joint statement ten months later that they were ending their marriage on the 27th of June 2007. Houghton entered a 2001 competition run by Motor Cycle News magazine, and after winning it, she became a promotions girl. She entered a Daily Star competition as a Page 3 girl in 2003, but only appeared in the tabloid newspaper once.

Big Brother set a challenge to the group on 8 January (day four) to determine how popular they were. She and her ex-husband Preston walked into the house. During the show, Houghton reformed the fake band Kandy Floss alongside fellow Ultimate Big Brother housemates Victor Ebuwa and Nadia Almada for a task. Houghton survived eviction on Day 11 and then landed third place on the final three-way vote on Day 18, behind Nikki Grahame and winner Brian Dowling.
