Life
Boyd was born in Bedford, Texas. Jenna, his older sister, is also an actor. Boyd plays violin and cello as well as playing high school football at Village Christian School. He recently graduated from Pepperdine University, studying management.
Career
As young as 6 and 7, Boyd appeared in his first television appearances, small television roles, and commercials. In Mystic River, Tim Robbins' son appeared. In the 2005 film The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, he appeared in the leading role. In X-Men: The Last Stand, he appeared young Warren Worthington III, and he appeared in the lead role in the 2007 film Have Dreams, Will Travel (originally titled A West Texas Children's Story).
