Cathy Podewell (born January 27, 1964) is an American actress best known for her appearances on Dallas as Cally Harper Ewing from 1988 to 1991.
Early life and education
Podewell was born in Evanston, Illinois. She and her mother, a real estate agent, were born in Walnut Creek, California, and her father, a teacher, were raised there. Lester Podewell and Beverly Younger, her paternal grandparents, were both actors. She studied theatre arts and dancing at the University of California, Santa Barbara, California.

Career
On Dallas from 1988 to 1991, Podewell is best known for his appearance of Cally Harper Ewing, the second wife of the character J.R. Ewing. Podewell appeared in both the 1988 horror film Night of the Demons and the 1989 comedy film Beverly Hills Brats. Valerie, Murder, She Wrote, Beverly Hills, Paradise, Walker, Texas Ranger, and Growing Pains were among her guest appearances on television shows. She had no credits from 1995 to 2013, but she decided to concentrate on motherhood instead.
