Catherine Bell Life

Catherine Bell (born 14 August 1968) is an American actress best known for her appearances in the television series JAG from 1997 to 2005, including Denise Sherwood in the series Army Wives from 2007 to 2005, and Cassandra "Cassie" Nightingale in Hallmark's The Good Witch films and television series since 2008.

Early life

Catherine Bell was born in London on August 14, 1968 to Peter Bell, a Scottish father, and Mina Ezzati, an Iranian mother. Peter was working as an architect for an Iranian oil company; Mina had travelled to London to study nursing. When Catherine was two years old, Bell's parents divorced. She was raised by her mother and maternal grandparents. Bell was later transported to San Fernando Valley, California, where he was exposed to a variety of influences. At home, the family spoke Persian. Catherine's grandparents were Muslim, but she was also exposed to Catholicism and attended a Baptist summer camp. Catherine came under the influence of her California surroundings in her teenage years: "I am definitely a Valley Girl." I was a tomboy. "I liked to skateboard, play football, and even push the envelope a little bit." Catherine studied at UCLA, where she considered a career in medicine or research. However, she fell out during her second year when she was offered a modeling career in Japan, where advertisers value "American beauty."

Personal life

Bell is fluent in Persian and English. She is a fan of motorcycle riding, skiing, snowboarding, and kickboxing. Cross-stitching and building model cars are among her hobbies, which she has enjoyed since age 8.

In a celebrity poll conducted right before the season began, Bell incorrectly predicted that the New England Patriots would defeat the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXVI, 20 to 17. Bell's prediction came only after the NFC and AFC championship games were over, so she did not determine the teams that would be involved, only the final score.

Bell took flying lessons in a Cirrus SR22 during the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike.

On the set of the 1992 film Death Becomes Her, Bell spoke with actor-production assistant Adam Beason. They were married on May 8, 1994. Gemma and Ronan's parents are the parents of two children. They lived in a nearly 5,700 square feet (530 m2) faux-Tuscan-style mini-mansion in Calabasas, California. The couple sold the house in 2010 and later announced that they had split sometime before September 2011. In 2011, the couple divorced.

Bell has lived in Los Angeles with fellow scientologist, photographer, and party planner Brooke Daniells, as well as their children. Bell paid $22.05 million for a single-story ranch house on a 1.2 acres (0.49 ha) lot in Los Angeles' western suburbs.

Bell was raised Roman Catholic and attended an all-girls Catholic academy (Our Lady of Corvallis High School in Los Angeles). She is a practicing Scientologist. Bell has attained the Scientology state of Clear. She has endorsed Scientology's Hollywood Education and Literacy Initiative. Bell helped promote the Citizens Commission on Human Rights' gala opening (a Scientology-funded group). "Psychiatry: An Industry of Death" museum was on display in December 2005. Bell appeared in "United," a Scientology music video released in February 2006. Isaac Hayes, Erika Christensen, Jenna Elfman, and Lynsey Bartilson appear in the film, which also claims to support human rights with a rap song.
