Early life and background
Chikezie was born in England to Nigerian parents of Igbo origins. Chikeziezie, a fourteen-year-old girl from Nigeria, was sent to boarding school in the hopes of encouraging her to abandon her attempts to become an actress. She had attended weekend classes at Italia Conti before this. On her return to the United Kingdom, she enrolled in Medicinal Chemistry (she was supposed to take over her father's hospital in Nigeria) but dropped out of class. She later received a scholarship to the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in the United Kingdom.
