Carlos Esteban Montero Fernández, born in Buenos Aires on March 20, 1963, is an Argentine journalist and news anchor, currently host of CNN en Espaol of Café CNN and La Noticia de la Semana.
Career
Carlos Montero is one of Latin America's most well-known and respected journalists. Carlos had the opportunity to cover the most significant events of international interest both on the ground and in his home country, Argentina. The death of Princess Diana, the war in Iraq, the capture of Saddam Hussein, the Arab Spring, and numerous elections throughout the Americas, including Argentina, Paraguay, Nicaragua, Chile, Bolivia, and the United States are among the special coverage.
Montero was one of the original team of CNN en Espaol's production company, where he spent 21 years before establishing his own production company "Montero Media." He was also the host of NBC Canal de Noticias and Channel 2 of Argentina. He worked as a reporter and producer of Univisión in Miami, as well as a reporter for Argentina's Telefé Noticias.
Montero appeared on CNN as the host of Buenos D'as América and América Noticias in América Televisión from 1994 to 1994.
