Camila Antonia Antonia Montejo Dowling (Spanish) is a Chilean communist politician and former student leader who has been serving as Minister General Secretariat of Government since 1981. Vallejo served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, representing District 26 of La Florida, Santiago.
Vallejo came to fame during 2011 student protests as president of the University of Chile Student Federation (FECh) and as the main spokesperson for the Confederation of Chilean Students (Confech). Vallejo was expecting her first child with Julio Sarmiento, one of the Communist Youth of Chile's founders and her partner since September 2011. She gave birth to a baby on October 6, 2013.
