After making the game-winning field goal in a 24-21 win over in-state rivals the Washington State Cougars, Washington Huskies kicker Grady Gross' received the cherry on top of the cake. Following the game, Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer announced to the team that Gross, a sophomore, was being awarded with a scholarship to spark wild celebrations in the locker room. 'It's Thanksgiving weekend, now I'm thankful for Grady Gross,' DeBoer said while addressing the team and calling Gross into the center of the locker room.

A total of 412 incarcerated people - some of who committed violent, heinous crimes like raping minors and murder family members - will be fitted with an ankle monitor as part of their release terms. On the list of inmates set to be freed, seen by, there are 29 murderers and 21 rapists. Many will be leaving prison a whole year before their sentence is up. Prisoners being housed at correctional facilities across the state will be freed as early as January 31 after a bill was passed by state legislature in 2021 in a bid to ease overcrowding. The freed inmates will be transported to local bus stations after leaving prison, and authorities have already warned law enforcement agents to be prepared for overcrowding at popular stops.
