Bruno Martini Life

Bruno Martini (born 25 January 1962) is a French retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. His professional career was closely associated with Auxerre, for which he played 13 years.

Having won more than 30 caps for France during nine years, Martini represented the nation in two European Championships.

Club career

Martini, a native of Challuy, Nevers, began playing for AJ Auxerre. He took his place in 322 Ligue 1 matches after assisting his team in a 1992-93 semi-final appearance in the UEFA Cup following a loan stint with AS Nancy.

Martini left the club in the season prior to the 1995–96 conquest of the double, which was led by Lionel Charbonnier. He began his career at 37 years with Montpellier HSC and returned to the latter team in 2015 as a goalkeeper coach.

International career

Martini appeared in 31 times for France and also appeared at Euro 1992 (as a starter) and Euro 1996 (as a starter) and Euro 1996. He began serving as a goalkeeping coach for Les Bleus right away after his release.
