She is the daughter of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan.
Brooke began making music at an early age and began working on her first studio album in 2002.
Hogan and her father appeared in a one-hour special on VH1 in an attempt to promote her music career.
The special was a ratings hit, with Hogan and her family appearing in the reality television series Hogan Knows Best (2005–07).
Brooke, a young girl, was grappling with her overprotective father and recording her debut album on the program.
Undiscovered, her first studio album, was released in 2006.
The single "About Us" was preceded by the single "About Us," which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the top-forty. Although Hogan was starting her second album, personal difficulties among her family led to the cancellation of Hogan Knows Best.
This resulted in Hogan's appearance in her own television series, Brooke Knows Best (2008–09).
Though her parents and brother appeared on various occasions throughout the series, it was mainly focusing on Brooke and her new music.
The Redemption (2009), Hogan's second studio album, failed to replicate its predecessor's success.
Two singles were released on the album, neither of which had much success.
Following Brooke Knows Best's conclusion, Hogan pursued a career in acting, appearing in numerous low budget films and television shows.
Hogan and her dad, along with her father, appeared on Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in 2012.
After a year on the program, she was released from the series.

The series debuted in July 2005 and became the most highly rated series in the network's history. The show chronicled the Hogan family's life together, but it mainly concentrated on Brooke and her father. Hogan Knows Best described her father as stifly with her dating habits. On the show, Hulk installed a GPS tracker on Brooke's car that allowed him to track her whereabouts and shut down the engine of her car remotely. Brooke said in a later interview that her father loosened up after her eighteenth birthday.
