Every member of the March Madness team Duquesne receives a new pair of sneakers ahead of their first NCAA Tournament game since 1977. LeBron James is the youngest member of the March Madness squad

Each of Duquesne's players received a new pair of NBA superstar LeBron James' shoes before playing in its first NCAA Tournament game in nearly 50 years against Brigham Young. Duquesne had to win the Atlantic-10 Conference Tournament to secure a spot in March Madness, and had done so by winning four games in a row, including over Dayton, the conference's regular-season champions. James' gift to Duquesne was not out of appreciation. Keith Dambrot, the Dukes' first high school coach at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, is in charge.

Billy Bowman Jr. of Oklahoma scores a spectacular 100-YARD pick-six against BYU in a huge play that helped the 9-2 Sooners win their second straight victory

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 18, 2023
During the third quarter, the teams were tied at 17 about halfway through the third quarter, when BYU was less than ten yards away from their end zone. Bowman Jr.'s timing in intercepting BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff's pass to wide receiver Kody Epps could not have been more perfect. Bowman Jr. was able to complete the 100-yard dash with ease. Despite Retzlaff's last-ditch attempt to stop the game, Bowman Jr.'s front turned away from him and into the end zone. The audience at LaVell Edwards Stadium in BYU was stunned into silence. Meanwhile, the Sooners commemorated the astonishing touchdown.
