EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Geoff Shreeves opens up on being out of work for the first time in 33 years after quitting Sky Sports, Sir Alex Ferguson's temper, THAT Branislav Ivanovic interview and TV's diversity push

Exclusive INTERVIEW NINI LADYMAN: Geoff Shreeves was not at a training ground or at a manager's press conference the day before the Premier League season began, and he wasn't in the Premier League. He was on the golf course in Mallorca. Shreeves is out of work after 33 years with Sky - most notable as their outstanding touchline interviewer. Chelsea will face Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, but he will not be in the players' tunnel or standing by the Stamford Bridge dugouts. In St Albans, he'll be at home on the sofa. "It's a big change for me and it's left a big hole in my life," Shreeves says.

Following Aleksandar Mitrovic's suspension, the ten longest suspensions in Premier League history have been suspended

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 4, 2023
Since being banned from eight games for attacking referee Chris Kavanagh in Fulham's FA Cup transfer to Manchester United last month, Aleksandar Mitrovic has received one of the longest sentences in Premier League history. The normal three-match ban has been extended to eight games, but the FA is planning to appeal the suspension, claiming that the Serbian striker will receive an even greater punishment. Mitrovic played in Fulham's 2-1 loss at Bournemouth, and the earliest he'll return is against Southampton on May 13 - with two games remaining after that.

Chelsea's £184 million winter splurge accounts for over 33% of all Premier League income in January

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 25, 2023
Chelsea has had a very busy January, with six players having already signed over a week of the window still open. At an average age of just over 20, the Blues are taking a different approach to previous years and planning for the future rather than the present - and their spending this month has equated to more than half of all Premier League spending in January. The change comes after three years of not spending a single penny in the winter window.
