William Paul Barretta (born June 19, 1964) is an American actor, puppeteer, producer, and director best known for supplying the puppetry and voice of characters such as Pepe the King Prawn and Bobo the Bear.

Early life
Barretta was born William Paul Barretta in Yardley, Pennsylvania, on June 19, 1964. Gene Barretta, the children's book author and illustrator, is younger brother.
Barretta attended St. Mary's Hall-Doane Academy in Burlington, New Jersey, before becoming a carpenter. When Brian Henson and his coworkers were at Sesame Place, they met him.
Career
Since 1991, Barretta has been performing with The Muppets, when he puppeteered the body of Sinclair family patriarch Earl Sinclair on Dinosaurs. Pepe the King Prawn, Johnny Fiama, Big Mean Carl, and Bobo the Bear were among the new characters on Muppets Tonight.
Barretta has taken over several of Jim Henson's roles, including Dr. Teeth, Rowlf the Dog, Mahna Mahna, and Swedish Chef, and Swedish Chef, and she briefly took over Lew Zealand's role. Clueless Morgan, who made his film debut as a principal puppeteer on 1996's Muppet Treasure Island, was Clueless Morgan.
Barretta has made two of Muppet's television films, It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (2002) and The Muppets' Wizard of Oz (2005). Barretta also contributed to Kim Possible. He appeared in Muppets Most Wanted, where he also served as a co-producer. Barretta has also appeared on ABC's The Muppets as an executive producer. Barretta created the unique Muppets Haunted Mansion in 2021.
