Career
In The Crow: City of Angels, Mitchell's first big film role was played by the teenage drug addict Grace. She auditioned as a child actor in The Crow's role of Mary Camden in a new family drama, 7th Heaven, during the shooting of The Crow in 1996. Producers at first refused her because they did not think she was able to portray Mary. However, when she first read for the role of sister Lucy, she was immediately cast. Heaven was extremely popular, with 11 seasons ending.
In 2000, she appeared in The Amanda Show as a customer in Moody's Point.
Mitchell appeared Erica Enders-Stevens in the Disney Channel original film Right on Track, based on the early career of the 2014 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Pro Stock champion and her sister Courtney Enders, who was played by Brie Larson.
