Benjamin Burnley Life

Benjamin Jackson Burnley IV (born March 10, 1978) is an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, and record producer best known as the band's founder and frontman.

Burnley's primary songwriter, lead vocalist, and guitarist have been with the group since 1999.

Burnley has released six studio albums under the name Breaking Benjamin since 2002, three of which have reached platinum and two of which have won gold in the United States, three of which have reached platinum.

Burnley has also collaborated with artists like Adam Gontier and Red.Burnley's lyrical content, which has included "waffle between being plaintive and brutal" in addition to Breaking Benjamin. Burnley has the tenor of a tenor and occasionally uses death growls in his singing.

IGN referred to him as having a "somewhat innocuous voice that is crystal clear... shifts between contemplative subjectivity and growling rage" at any time. Burnley's tone is represented by baritone guitars and drop tunings that mimic his vocal range.

Personal life

Burnley has a number of fears, a phobia that inspired the name of their 2006 album Phobia. Burnley's jacket, which depicts a winged man hovering over the ground, portrays the man's phobia of flying, which has barred Breaking Benjamin from flying outside of the United States and Canada in the past. However, he and his band members travelled by ferry ship to Europe in May 2016, marking their first musical tour outside of the United States and Canada. Breaking Benjamin was a popular tourist in Europe in 2017. Burnley also suffers from hypochondria and a fear of the dark. He does not believe in a person's time in death and believes he will live for as long as he possibly can, which is why he does not fly or even ride in a car unless it is absolutely necessary. In the song "Break My Fall," where a pilot is heard over the music, he incorporates his phobias into his songs. Landowners are allowed to land. I am unable to control the plane. We are in danger of crashing."

Burnley is an avid video gamer and originally thought of the idea for Breaking Benjamin to write and record the song "Blow Me Away" for Halo 2's soundtrack. The song "Polyamorous" is also available on Run Like Hell, WWE SmackDown! vs. vs. Raw and WWE Day of Reckoning (along with their song "Firefly")) (which also includes their song "Firefly"). On NASCAR 07, "The Diary of Jane" appears on "The Diary of Jane."

Burnley, a recovering alcoholic, admitted in an interview that he wanted to "drink himself to death." He claims he regrets ever downing a drop of alcohol and suffers from Wernicke–Korsakoff syndrome as a result of heavy drinking. Dear Agony was reported to be Burnley's first breaking Benjamin record to be written without the use of alcohol.

Benjamin Jackson Burnley V. is Burnley's uncle.

He was homeschooled at 16 and quickly passed the GED exam. He migrated to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he became a roommate of former Breaking Benjamin bass player Jonathan Price at 21 years old. He learned himself to play guitar by listening to Nirvana's Nevermind (he cites Nirvana as his greatest influence). Ben Burnley made money performing cover songs, mixed in with his own in several coffee houses and other all-age venues, mainly with local neighboring musicians prior to Breaking Benjamin was born.

Burnley's former lead guitarist Aaron Fink formed the Burnley and former lead guitarist Aaron Fink band "Breaking Benjamin" in 1998 (along with Nick Hoover and Chris Lightcap).
