Bapsi Sidhwa Life

Bapsi Sidhwa (born August 11, 1938) is an American-Pakistani novelist of Gujarati Parsi descent who writes in English and resides in the United States. She is best known for her collaboration with Indo-Canadian filmmaker Deepa Mehta: Sidhwa contributed to Mehta's 1998 film Ice Candy Man as well as the 2006 book Water: A Novel, which is based on Mehta's 2005 film Water.

"Bapsi: Silences of My Life," a Sidhwa film, is currently in production, and it is expected to be released in 2021.
