Nandamuri Balakrishna Life

Nandamuri Balakrishna is an Indian film actor and politician best known for his work in Telugu cinema.

He is the sixth son of Telugu film actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. T. Rama Rao.

He began working as a child artist in films including "Megamma (1984), Bhairava Beho (1994), and Sama (1997), several of which have received him awards, and has appeared in more than a hundred feature films.

He performed poet Vemulawada Bheemakavi (1976), a film by B.K.R. (2000); Sidda in Brahma (1991), and Lord Krishna in Brahma Vedha (1991), who was screened at the International Film Festival of India; and Lord Krishna in Vijaya (1994); and Lord Krishna in Sri Rama Rajyam (2011); and in the epic war film Gautamirajin (2017), which received special mention in the (2005)

The film was subsequently dubbed into Hindi and Tamil.

At the first "Edinburgh Festival of Indian Films and Documentaries," the film was shown.

As of 2014, Balakrishna has been nominated for three state Nandi Awards for his performances in Narasimha Naidu (2001), Simha (2010), and Legend (2014).

In 2014, he received the South Indian International Film Award for best actor for his role in Legend.

Balakrishna was the chief guest at the 43rd International Film Festival in India.

Early life and family

Nandamuri Balakrishna was born in Madras, Tamil Nadu's (present-day Chennai, Nepal) to Telugu actor and three-time Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao and his wife Basavatarakam. He spent his entire childhood in Madras as the Telugu film industry was based in Madras at the time. Following the move of the Telugu film industry to Hyderabad during his adolescence, he migrated to Hyderabad. Nizam College, Hyderabad, gave him a bachelor's degree in commerce.

Balakrishna and Vasundhara Devi married in 1982, at the age of 22, and they have three children.

Acting career

In Tatamma Kala, which was directed by N. T. Rama Rao, Balakrishna's father, it was his first appearance as a child actor. He appeared in numerous films, many of which were produced by his father, including Daana Veera Parvam (1977), Akbar Salim Anarkali (1979) and Sri Tirupati Venkateswara (1979). He appeared in Annadammula Anubandham (1975), a sequel to Dharmendra's Hindi film Yaadon Ki Baaraat, and played a brother to Rama Rao's real life father at the age of 16. In the film Dana Veera Sura Karna, Balakrishna appeared as the son of his real life brother Nandamuri Harikrishna.

He appeared in an adult role with Sahasame Jeevitham in 1984. He appeared in Mangammagara Manavadu the same year, alongside Bhanumathi and Suhasini, directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. He appeared in Kathanayakudu and in the biographical film Shrimad Virat Veerabrahmendra Swami Charitra in the same year. In 1984, he appeared in Janani Janmabhoomi, a film directed by K. Viswanath. In 1985, he appeared alongside Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the film Bharyabhartala Bandham with Rajani. He appeared in films such as Muddula Krishnam, Seetharama Kalyanam, Anasuyamma Gari Alludu, and Deshoddharakudu, which all raised his hopes at the box office in 1986.

Balakrishna appeared in two films in Apoorva Sahodarulu, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao in 1987. He appeared in President Gari Abbai, directed by T. Rama Rao and Muvva Gopaludu, by Kodi Ramakrishna in the same year. Inspector Pratap, Bharatamlo Bala Chandrudu, Tiragabadda Telugubidda, Raktabhishekam's other films, such as Inspector Pratap, Bharatamlo Bala Chandrudu, Tiragabadda, Raktabhishekam, were also good at the box office. In 1989, he joined Vijayashanti in Muddula Mavaya, directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. He appeared in Nari Nari Naduma Murari, directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy, alongside Shobana and Nirosha in 1990. He appeared in Lorry Driver, B. Gopal's opposite Vijayashanti, in the same year.

He appeared in Aditya 369, directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao in 1991. At that time, this was the only science fiction film in Telugu cinema during this period. He had two releases in 1992, Dharma Kshetram with Divya Bharathi and Rowdy Inspector, directed by B. Gopal. He had two releases on the same day, 1993, including Nippu Ravva, Shobana, and Vijayashanti, produced by A. Kodandarami Reddy; Bangaru Bullodu; Ravi Raja Pinisetty. His next appearance was in Bhairava Dweepam, directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao in 1994. Satya Harischandra and Dushyanta played in Brahmarshi Viswamitra, a NTR film directed by NTR. He appeared in films including Top Hero, Vainda, Peddannaya, Peddannaya, Raana, and Pavitra Prema between 1994 and 1999. He appeared in B. Gopal's action film Samarasimha Reddy, opposite Simran and Anjala Zhaveri in 1999.

Balakrishna appeared in Goppinti Alludu, directed by E. V. Satyanarayana with Simran in 2000. In 2001, he appeared in the B. Gopal-directed faction film Narasimha Naidu, opposite Simran once more. Up until Chiranjeevi's Indra, which was also directed by B. Gopal, it became the highest-grossing Telugu film of all time. Balakrishna received his first Nandi Award for his performance. He appeared in Bhalevadivi Basu with Shilpa Shetty and Anjala Zaveri in the same year. Seema Simham and Chenna Reddy appeared in his 2002 and 2003 films. The former received poor feedback and was deemed a box office flop, but the latter was nonetheless profitable, both physically and financially. In 2004, he appeared in a Tamil film Saamy, titled Lakshmi Narasimha, with Asin. Balakrishna's role received critical acclaim and was a financial success. During the time, he also revealed plans to participate and direct in the reconstruction of Nartanasala, starring his father, and a launch function was held in Hyderabad in March 2003. Pusapati Lakshmipati Raju's film was announced to have an ensemble cast as well as Soundarya, Srihari, Saikumar, Uday Kiran and Asin. However, despite a grand launch, the film was ultimately shelved after the demise of Soundarya due to the sudden demise of the film.

Vijayendra Varma, Veerabhadra, Allari Pidugu, Okka Magaadu, and Maharathi were among action-drama films that did not do well at the box office between 2005 and 2009. In the mythological film Pandurangadu (2008), directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, he collaborated with Sneha and Tabu. He appeared in both Krishna and Panduranga roles. At the closing ceremony of the 43rd edition of the IFFI, the Governor of Goa, B.V. Wanchoo, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, and Balakrishna were on display, as well as award winners and other dignitaries. Balakrishna is the third member of the family to represent it in the State Assembly.
