Early life and family
Getty is the son of Ariadne Getty, a Getty family member, and Justin Williams. He is the grandson of actor Sir John Paul Getty Jr. and the grandson of actress Ann Rork Light and Jean Paul Getty, the maker of Getty Oil. Nats has a sibling. Career
Getty was inspired by designers Alexander McQueen, Versace, Vivienne Westwood, and Stella McCartney as a teen. He has also stated that he has a strong link to Yves Saint Laurent.
During New York Fashion Week, Getty unveiled his 2015 Spring/Summer collection at the Mercedes-Benz fashion show in New York City. The collection was based on childhood fantasies of European heiresses with unethical lives, statues in his family's art collection, and his family's botanical gardens.
Getty collaborated with David LaChappelle in November 2015 for Thread of Man, his 2016 Spring/Summer line. Rather than a traditional fashion preview, his collection's debut was an art installation at Universal Studios. The work included art scenes depicting a car accident, an altar to Our Lady of Guadalupe, and a video of Fox News and US President Donald Trump stating Hell. In Vogue, his 2016 Autumn/Winter collection was featured.
The spring 2018 collection by Getty made its debut at the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan, Italy.
