Career
Laurence began her career on television shows as a guest on television series. Brenda Clegg made her acting debut in 1984 as Brenda Clegg, a recurring appearance on the CBS soap opera Capitol. Laurence appeared as Genna in an episode of the television series Highway to Heaven in 1986. In 1987, she made her film debut as Kirsty Cotton in Clive Barker's Hellraiser (1987).
