Arabian Prince Life

Kim Renard Nazel (born June 17, 1965) is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, and DJ best known by his stage name Arabian Prince or Professor X.

He is best known as one of the N.W.A's founding members.

Early life

Nazel was born in Compton, California, to Joseph "Skippy" Nazel Jr., a well-known African-American writer and host of a popular radio talk show host. His musical roots came from his mother, a piano instructor, and a classical musician. His family tried to shield him by sending him to a Catholic school and keeping him busy with football to keep him safe from the gangs. Nazel's younger brother got his first exposure to making music at the radio station where his dad appeared on; Nazel made mixtapes that he would sell at school. Nazel attended Junpero Serra High School in nearby Gardena and went on to graduate.

Arabian Prince Career

Music career

Nazel took the stage name of DJ Prince and started selling mixtapes at school. Sam Nassif, the deluge mall's store's owner, asked him to DJ a party at a neighborhood center while working as a beach. He continued to perform there for many weekends, but Nassif's triumph prompted him to invest even more in the area, renaming it "The Cave," where Nazel will continue to host for over three years and even after his N.W.A. Days have passed. "Strange Life," Nassif's first album, was also funded by the company.

He changed his stage name when he was 15 years old at the Skateland USA, the same skating venue that was credited with the NWA a few years ago due to a fan's suggestion.

He said about his name:

In 1984, Arabian Prince Prince Mohammed started working with Bobby Jimmy & the Critters. "Supersonic" was also produced by J.J. Fad, who created J.J. Fad's hit single and album.

He was a founding member of N.W.A in 1986, but shortly after fellow student Ice Cube returned from the Phoenix Institute of Technology in 1988, Arabian Prince Ahmed was left homeless due to a number of issues regarding royal affairs and employment conflict. "I started as a solo artist," he said, "I wasn't aware of what a royalty remark was." I knew that there were several records on the market at the time, but there is now a quarterly reminder. If you take a look at it, you will see how much money was paid and then share it. This was not the case. We never paid for touring. Rene, Ice Cube, and MC Ren remained as the main performers, although DJ Yella was the turntablist and Dr. Dre was the main producer.

Arabian Prince Salman began working as a student at the University of N.W.A. Brother Arab's debut on 1989 with the single "She's Got A Big Posse"; Where's My Bytches followed in 1993.

He began performing music again in the mid-2000s, with his Professor X project on Dutch label Clone Records. "I could not release the record under Arabian Prince," he said, "because I already had a single out," he said, so I called myself Professor X on that." He appeared as a DJ on the 2K Sports Holiday Bounce Tour with artists from the Stones Throw label in 2007. Stones Throw released a collection of his electro-rap from the 1980s in 2008. On the 2007 video game, College Hoops 2K8 was included one of his songs.

A biopic about N.W.A. appeared in 2015. Straight Outta Compton was released; however, Arabian Prince was not included in the film, and his role was omitted completely. N.W.A. : The following year is the N.W.A. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but the Arabian Prince was not named or mentioned.

The Arabian Prince appeared on the AmeriKKKant album of the Ministry of Industry and Technology in 2018. He appeared on Ministry's 2021 album Moral Hygiene for the second time.
