Early life
Anzalna is the second of five children and was born in Pulau Pinang's Tasek Gelugor on January 9, 1988. Anzalna grew up in several regions. She attended primary school in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from 1996 to 1998, while her father obtained his master's degree at McGill University, Canada. Coronation Elementary School was her first exposure to her first education. She then went to Sinclair Laird Elementary School and Bancroft Elementary School. She continued her primary school in Muar and Melaka following her father's completion of his studies. She then moved to SMK Munshi Abdullah and SMK Khir Johari.
She left Malaysia in 2004 to continue her father's doctoral studies at University of Tasmania, Australia. She enrolled in Launceston at Brooks High School before heading to Launceston College, Tasmania, to continue her studies.
