Anton Kim Ewald (born 7 August 1993) is a Swedish singer and dancer.
He has appeared at Melodifestivalen several times as both a background dancer and singer.
Career
Ewald began his career as a background dancer at Melodifestivalen. He danced alongside Velvet in the third semi-finals in Leksand with "The Queen" in 2009. Danny Saucedo's "Amazing" was a dancer and choreographer behind him in Melodifestivalen 2012. During the same year's competition, Andreas Lundstedt's number "Aldrig aldrig" ("Never Never") also danced and choreographed.
Ewald appeared in Melodifestivalen 2013, the selection process for selecting the Swedish entry into the Eurovision Song Contest featured "Begging" by Fredrik Kempe, Anton Malmberg Hrd af Segerstad. He finished third in the "Second chance" round held in Löfbergs Lila Arena in Karlstad on February 9, 2013, qualifying for the national final after his semi-final appearance on February 9, 2013. Ewald choreographed the performance himself.
He qualified for the national final in Friends Arena on March 2nd, 2013, despite a final duel with Behrang Miri and his song "Jalla Dansa Sawa." Ewald was one of just two acts from the Second Chance round to qualify for the final, the other qualifier being Robin Stjernberg with his song "You." Ewald placed fourth in the final of Melodifestivalen 2013 on March 9, 2013. He released two music singles, "Begging" and "Can't Hold Back," as well as two EPs, A and A-coustic, following Melodifestivalen.
Anton appeared in Melodifestivalen 2014 once more, performing the song "Natural" in the fourth and final semi-finals on February 22nd. He made it to the final, where he finished in tenth place. In 2015, he joined Italian producer D.j. Mirko B. dances in the single "Higher" dance.
When he qualified for the final, he placed 11th in Melodifestivalen 2021 with the song "New Religion."
