Anton Johannes Gerrit Corbijn van Willenswaard (born 20 May 1955) is a Dutch photographer, music video producer, and film producer.

He is the creative director behind Depeche Mode and U2, and has been in charge of principal promotion and sleeve photography for both bands for over three decades.

Early life and family

Anton Johannes Gerrit Corbijn van Willenswaard was born in Strijen, the Netherlands, where his father had been appointed parson to the Dutch Reformed Church the previous year. Anton Corbijn van Willenswaard (1917–2007), his father, Willenswaard (1966) and Groningen (1972), sharing his wife and four children with him. Marietje Groeneboer (1925-2011), a nurse, was raised in a parson's household, and she was a son of a parson's family. Maarten Corbijn, a photographer and filmmaker who was born 1960, is a younger brother. Anton Johannes (Corbijn) van Willenswaard (1886–1959), a primary member of the local Dutch Reformed Church in Hilversum, was a grandfather.
