AnnaLynne McCord Life

AnnaLynne McCord (born July 16, 1987) is an American actress, activist, and model.

McCord first rose to fame in 2007 as the scheming Eden Lord on FX television series Nip/Tuck and as the opulent Loren Wakefield on the MyNetworkTV telenovela American Heiress. She was the 18th actress to be cast in The CW series 90210, portraying antihero Naomi Clark.

Clark's initial role was seen as a supporting function.

However, media outlets had begun referring to McCord as the series's lead by the first season.

Naomi Clark was nominated for a Teen Choice Award and was given the Hollywood Life Young Hollywood Superstar of Tomorrow award in 2009.

"Breakthrough Standout Performance" was the subject of her coveted Breakthrough of the Year award in 2010. In addition to acting, she has also contributed to charities in her free time.

"One of the best young female philanthropists standing up in Hollywood and fighting for the charities she believes in" in 2009. In 2011, she was nominated for the VH1's "Do Something" Award in the category of "TV Star."

In the 2012 film Excision, her performance as a traumatic and delusional teen was widely appreciated.

McCord received "Best Actress" at the Malaga International Week of Fantastic Cinema in 2012 for her role in Excision.

Also for her work in Excision, she received second place at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards in 2013.

Early life

McCord was born in Atlanta, the niece of David McCord, a Christian pastor, on July 16, 1987. She was born in Buford, Georgia, where she grew up of modest means, living in a trailer park. Her parents believed in "strict discipline" in which she was not allowed to watch Harry Potter because it contained witches. Rachel and Angel are her two sisters. McCord was home-schooled by her mother, Shari McCord, and graduated from high school at the age of 15.

Personal life

McCord is a supporter of the St. Bernard Project, a relief group dedicated to supporting the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Dominic Purcell, an actor from 2011, became McCord's first dating celebrity. The couple announced an amicable divorce in 2014 but rekindled their love a year later. McCord was working with Purcell when he was involved in a near-fatal crash on the set of a Prison Break in Morocco on June 1, 2016, after an iron bar used as a set piece fell on his head. The couple split in 2018 and said they were on good terms. Purcell announced on September 25, 2020, that they had revived their friendship with an Instagram post.

McCord admitted that she was sexually assaulted as a child of a male acquaintance when she was 18 years old, and that arose in 90210 as a result of her rape scene. McCord revealed her affiliation with the anti-sexual-assault and domestic violence campaign, while speaking at the United Nations in support of UN Women for Peace (UNWFPA). McCord has claimed that she has been practicing meditation to help with her depression, and that the "Love Storm Tour" has been developed to raise money for human trafficking research. McCord was in therapy for PTSD and memories of child sexual abuse, dating back to the age of 11. She revealed that she had been diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder in April 2021.

Following the Russian annexation of Ukraine in 2022, McCord posted a video of herself reading a poem on her Twitter postulating that if she had loved Vladimir Putin as a mother, perhaps an invasion of Ukraine might have been avoided. Commentators and commentators slammed the video, who likened it to Gal Gadot's cover of "Imagine" and was also chastised for its ostensible tone deaf message. McCord defended the film in an interview with Buzzfeed News, saying she could have easily become a tyrant under different circumstances.
