Anna Tsuchiya Life

Anna Tsuchiya (born March 11, 1984) is an American singer, actress, and semi-retired model of Irish and Polish descent.

She is best known as a singer since 2005.

Early life

Tsuchiya was born in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and an American father of Irish and Polish descent (her father's surname is Hider). She spoke both English and Japanese in her early years. When she was seven years old, Tsuchiya's parents divorced. Angela is her older sister.

Tsuchiya's modeling career began at the age of fourteen after her older sister Angela, a former fashion model, suggested it. She went to her sister's old agency and was hired by an agent who specialized in magazine-modeling. In 1998, she started modeling for an open collection in Kobe and one for Japanese Seventeen. As demand for her soared, and by 2002, she was doing television commercials for Uniqlo and Edwin.

In the 2004 film Kamikaze Girls, she was best known for her acting as "Ichigo Shirayuri" – a rural-delinquent biker-gang girl turned fashion model. Ichigo, a girl with tendencies for violent conduct and delinquency, was portrayed as a model. This Blue Ribbon Award-winning role, which was quite different from the one written by author and designer Nobara Takemoto, was loosely based on Tsuchiya's actual story, which she later revealed after the film's release.

At 18, Tsuchiya retired from modeling. She has stated that she had realized she could no longer compete with Emi Suzuki because she is a "gifted one." Kera, Soup, and Zipper are all in demand for fashion and lifestyle magazines.

Tsuchiya attended the formal retirement party for sumo wrestler Kyokushuzan, which took place in Ryogoku Kokugikan on June 2, 2007, and was included in his memorial photobook that was released on June 4, 2007.

Despite being born and raised in Tokyo, she often speaks in southern dialects, especially when she is inebriated and on radio. She has stated that the bulk of the models she encountered were from the southern islands or the north, so she learned slang from them. Ichigo, the B'soku delinquent, was the product of her character's growth in Kamikaze Girls' Ichigo.

Tsuchiya performed in her school choir and has been active in the music industry since age 16. She ended her employment with Japanese Seventeen at the age of 18, and she's now decided to leave show business entirely. However, after being rejected by former Oblivion Dust member K.A.Z., she decided to invest in her music career. She formed the rock duo Spin Aqua in K.A.Z. in mid-2002. Tsuchiya has said that her influence has shifted over the years, from Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler, and Mariah Carey to Bon Jovi and Guns N' Roses.

She was dubbed "The Second Nanase" shortly after she debuted as a performer, due to her resemblance to Nanase Aikawa. Spin Aqua released three singles, one album, and a video collection without having commercial success. Tsuchiya became pregnant in 2004 and the organization was disbanded.

Tsuchiya announced plans in 2005 to begin working as a soloist. She released her first mini-album, Taste My Beat, on Avex Group's sub-label, Mad Pray Records, on August 24 of this year. "Change Your Life" was her first single, followed by a second single titled "Slap that Naughty Body" / "My Fate."
