Andy Dinh Career

Professional gaming career

In 2008, Dinh joined League of Legends in the Closed Beta. He quickly became one of the game's most recognizable players, despite being playing alongside his brother, Dan Dinh. During the League of Legends' closed beta in September 2009, Andy and his brother formed team All or Nothing, one of the earliest competitive League of Legends teams. Around this time, he created the SoloMid website, one of the first websites dedicated to League of Legends, which also doubled as a website for his team. After differences with Dan Dinh, All or Nothing was disbanded, and Andy "Reginald" Dinh joined Team SoloMid (TSM) as its mid lane and captain in early 2011. TSM took 3rd place and $10,000 at the Season 1 World Championship in 2011. TSM made several appearances at various independent tournaments, including a second-place finish at Intel Extreme Masters Season VI and a first-place finish at Major League Gaming's Providence tournament.

TSM lost when versus the Russian-based squad in Moscow 5 at Intel Extreme Masters Hanover and Kiev events, as TSM entered League of Legends Season 2 of the Russian-based team. Following these setbacks, founding member Christian "The Rain Man" Kahmann resigned from the team due to differences in priorities, and TSM subsequently recruited Marcus "Dyrus" Hill to fill the void as he was still living in the TSM family. Dinh and TSM continued to win many North American events this spring and summer after these changes. TSM became one of the teams competing in the Riot Games' Season 2 World Championships in Los Angeles, where they were defeated 2–0 by Azubu Frost and placed 5th–8th with a reward of $75,000. They finished 9th-12th in the IGN Pro League Season 5 in December, winning $1,500 two months later.

At the end of 2013, Reginald retired from action. In Week 7 of the 2014 NA LCS Spring Split, he made a short appearance as TSM's mid laner, due to Bjergsen's return to Denmark to renew his US visa.
