When the Ukrainian 30th seed appeared to suffer an abdominal injury, Raducanu had off to a flying start, putting up a 4-0 lead in the first set. She called for the physiotherapist right away but she was unable to continue. Raducanu's debut in the game that was not intended was impressive.
