Ana Rodríguez Life

Ana Maria Rodrón (born February 22, 1974 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban-American singer who has performed under the stage names Ana and Má.

In 1979, she and her family immigrated to Miami, Florida.

Rodrez's self-titled debut album was released in 1987, and although it wasn't a hit in the United States, it did succeed in Japan.

"Shy Boys" was the first single taken from the album.

Rodrrez recorded under the name Ana for Epic/Parc Records, a CBS Records subsidiary, with the support of New Kids on the Block producer Maurice Starr.

Body Language, Starr's second US release, features the majority of songs on her own, as well as New Kids' duet "Angel of Love."

Debbie Gibson contributed to the collection with "Everytime We Say Goodbye" and "Friendly." Rodra resurfaced under the name Ma and launched an all-Spanish language collection titled "Tentación" on Univision Records in September 2003, after years of absence.
