Amy Kei Okuda (born March 6, 1989) is an American actress best known for her role in Netflix's Atypical (Since 2017).

Early life

Okuda was born in Torrance, California. She began her basketball years as a child, and she played from the age of five. She began dancing in the seventh grade and gained experience in acting a few years later.

Personal life

Okuda married fiancé Mitchell Hashimoto on November 3, 2018.

Career

She has appeared on television commercials and music videos as a dancer. She has worked on print ads for Apple laptops and Verizon, has been in advertising for Shoe Carnival and Japanese soft-drink company Suntory, and has done voice-over work for AT&T.

She appeared on the television show Californication with David Duchovny in 2007. Okuda's first recurring role in The Guild in 2007 was Tinkerballa. She has appeared in all of the show's episodes as of season four, with the exception of a few Season 3 episodes where her character was mentioned but not seen.

In 2010, she appeared in a short educational film about the Spitzer Space Telescope. She flies to Saturn and finds a massive ring that was only discovered by NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope in 2009.

She appeared in the Break.com original music video "Tonight, I'm Frakking You," Enrique Iglesias' "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)" in 2011. In the video, she appears alongside Alessandra Torresani, Kunal Nayyar, and Matthew Brown.
