Career
Valletta got her start in fashion when her mother enrolled her in modeling school at the Linda Layman Agency at the age of 15. Valletta, along with Kate Moss, Eva Herzigová, Tyra Banks, Carolyn Murphy, and Shalom Harlow, were among the generation's most prominent models right after the initial supermodels were released. She appeared on American Vogue's cover for the 13 times during the 1990s, placing second only to Claudia Schiffer's sixteen.
