Early life

Alison King was born in Leicester, England. She is the youngest of three daughters and a son born to nurses Alex and June King. She grew up in Markfield, Leicestershire, where she first became interested in acting at South Charnwood High School. She continued to act while attending Groby Community College, where a teacher will teach drama and dance lessons to students in their free time. At the age of 18, King moved to Newquay, Cornwall, where she spent at Fat Willys Surf Shack. She grew up in her spare time and spent four years as a dental nurse. When she was 22, she attended North Cheshire Theatre School.

The king was born as a Christadelphian.

Personal life

After it was revealed she had a female stalker, the actress had requested additional security from ITV bosses in 2014. Despite formal orders to stay away after being discovered lurking outside of her house, the woman approached her at the Southport Flower Show, resulting in a traumatized King fleeing the event earlier than expected.

The queen underwent cosmetic surgery to repair her smile, claiming that her teeth had been destroyed by sucking her thumb as a child, and she underwent more surgery in 2015.

The King had a five-year relationship with former Coronation Street actor Philip Middlemiss (who appeared in Des Barnes). She became engaged to fellow actor Jim Alexander, who appeared in several series of Dream Team with her, as well as the Daz advertisements in 2006. However, the pair broke in early 2007. Following the break, she briefly dated fellow soap actress Louis Emerick. Adam Huckett, a Coronation Street sound technician from April 2007, was dated by the actress. On February 11, 2009, she gave birth to their daughter. When visiting Huckett in September 2011, the King proposed that the marriage be cancelled due to the fact that they had split up on October 16th.

In 2016, King appeared to be dating Hollyoaks assistant director Paul Slavin. "I'm seeing someone," she said of the relationship. It's early days, so I don't want to say anything more, but I'm happy." However, she was photographed in November 2018 with a new'mystery' man and engaged in August 2019. In an OK Magazine cover and interview in September 2019, King posed for photos with her new fiancé, IT consultant David Stuckley, and announced their engagement. Alison King Career

Career

King landed her first television appearance in two episodes of Brookside during her time in theatre school. She appeared in the principal role of Lynda Block in Sky One's Dream Team before graduation from three years. She appeared on the show for three years and was suspended when the plot was sent to jail. She returned to the role a few years ago. She worked on several projects abroad, including a role as an extra in the American film Shanghai Knights, as well as the documentary Final Contract: Death on Delivery, which was shot on both action and documentary films during her time as a prostitute. "I first saw her working on Subway," she said of being on Sublime. He's a veteran of the American military and I'm Dimita – the best field op in the industry. I'm an action girl with a high ponytail doing a lot of stunts. The stunt man had worked with Angelina Jolie on Tomb Raider, and he taught me how to hang upside down from things, how to leap into dams, and strangle people with my knees. It was great fun!" "I was armed with a crossbow and chasing round in speedboats and war," she said of the Final Contract. Angelina Jolie's work in Submarine was praised as an imitation of her.

The King made a guest appearance in the final episode of Mile High as Coupling's "The Man with Two Legs" as Chrissy, with whom Jeff Murdock becomes infatuated on his morning train ride. She appeared in Holby City as the homeless wife of a hospital patient, as well as a brief appearance as a receptionist in Fat Slags. Save Angel Hope (2006) and Back in Business (2007), two of her debut films, she appeared in two independent films. She appeared in a Cold Feet episode as "Girlpower," a seductive internet avatar. In 2004, King appeared in the second episode of On Wiedersehen, Pet's fourth series.

King appeared in four episodes of Sky One's Sick Note as Superintendent Henchy, marking her first appearance in a Sky One production after the break of Dream Team.

Carla Connor appeared in Coronation Street, an ITV soap opera. On December 1, she made her first appearance in the role on the episode. Mrs. Fanshaw had appeared on the soap in 2004 as an unrelated character. The one-episode role was part of a larger storyline to "sex up" Ryan Thomas' character, builder Jason Grimshaw's. In 2009, she went on maternity leave. The King's role in the soap required high-profile storylines. She was involved in the death of Tony Gordon in 2010, when she had to be kidnapped in the Underworld factory. Frank Foster, King's fiance, attacked her character in 2011. This storyline had a major public impact and saw a significant rise in reported rapes across the United Kingdom. After the newsline had aired, the king described how an 800% rise in calls to help organizations had emerged, and that people had contacted her to share their true-life experiences, some of whom she has maintained in touch with. At the 2012 British Soap Awards, her success in the rape storyline culminated in the Best Actress award.

King spoke about her future on Coronation Street in July 2013, saying, "I don't know if I'll be here forever" - "I'd love to try different things, such as an action drama or a love story." However, I'm happy in the role and the producers will have me, so I'll be staying put for now." It was revealed in May 2015 that she would take a break from Coronation Street to work on other projects. However, it was reported in January 2016 that the resignation will be permanent. She told RadioTimes about her reason for leaving: "I've certainly only done about 20 pick-ups or drop-offs in all the time my daughter's been attending school, which is sad." I miss being others, and I miss being others. It's what I went to drama school for. I love being able to create new characters and meeting new people. I also want to keep my voiceover career alive, so I'll be able to get my voiceover career back to life. I used to do all sorts of things, but I can't do it while on Coronation Street. So, those are the reasons, really." On May 26, 2016, her resignation was announced. "These are my best friends and I adore them so much." She wrote about her resignation: "I love them so much." I'll miss them all and being with them, as well as the cast and crew, "they're my family." She later confessed to "destroying her feet and shattering her vocal cords" by destroying her feet and shattering her vocal cords, regretting that she had been portraying Carla Connor for ten years with a gritty voice and high heels. "Coronation Street ruined my body," she said.

During Coronation Street's tour, the actress met fans in a virtual reality video. "It's surreal because it's the original set, and I know how many scenes I've shot in there." But as an actor, being back on set, you still feel like you've never left. This is obviously different because I'm Ali rather than Carla. I'm still waiting for them to yell at me. I've been my home for ten years, so I'm right at home being on target." King will reprise her role as Carla in December this year. On December 22, 2017, her return to television appeared on December 22nd. Since her return to England, King has been nominated for a British Soap Award for 'Best Female' and has received accolades for her portrayal of Carla's psychosis storyline in May 2019.

In 2004, the King was the face of Boddingtons Beer. She appeared in a series of recurring television advertisements for Daz named "Cleaner Close," a parody of soap operas. In the late 1990s, King appeared in a variety of modelling shoots.

By the media, King is regarded as a British sex symbol.
