Alexis Gabrielle Dziena (born July 8, 1984) is an American actress.
Early life
Dziena was born in New York City and is of Irish, Italian, and Polish descent. She and her sister, Bringing Rain (2003) costar Paz de la Huerta, attended the private Saint Ann's School. She spent many of her summers growing up in Sea Isle City, South Jersey's small town. She attended classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts during high school and appeared in plays as well.
Personal life
From 2000 to 2004, Dziena had an on-and-off relationship with Michael Pitt. In Joey Ramone's music video for What a Wonderful World in 2002, they appeared together.
In September 2011, Dziena sought a restraining order against her parents, claiming she was afraid of them using "murder or violence" to access her money. A judge denied her appeal later this month because she had insufficient evidence to back up her claims.
After arriving at his house with a bag of clothes and a note that she was moving in, Dziena's ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Francis Ausley was granted a restraining order against Dziena in June 2014. Ausley also stated that she threatened to hurt both of them if they separated.
Career
Dziena made her acting debut in TNT's Witchblade (2002). In other series, such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Joan of Arcadia, followed guest actors. She's Too Young (2004), one of her first major roles, in which she played a sexually active teenager. Kira Underlay played the sheriff's daughter in ABC's Invasion. Dziena appeared on the sixth season of HBO's Entourage (2009).
In 2005, Alexis played Lolita, the daughter of a character played by Sharon Stone, who played Lolita. In the film Sex and Breakfast, she played Heather, a sexually unhappy young woman in a committed couple who participates in a couple swap as part of therapy. Fool's Gold (2008) and Nick (2004), as well as Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008).
In 2022, Ward was out, but Dziena shot her scenes in 2012.
