Early life
Chando is a native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Liberty High School. Steve Chando's father, Steve Chando, owns CHM Contracting in Bethlehem, and her mother, Rebecca, is a homemaker. She has two older brothers. She resides in New York City now. Before becoming an actress, Chando attended Manhattan College.
Career
Chando appeared on television soap opera As the World Turns from 2005 to 2007, and then for several months beginning in late 2009 and ending in early 2010. In the episode "I'm Getting My Big Break" from MTV's True Life, she chronicled her experience being cast on As the World Turns. She was nominated for the Younger Actress category of the Daytime Emmy Award in 2007.
Chando was cast as Deb in Josh Schwartz' WB web series Rockville, CA, in 2009.
