Aida Rodriguez Life

Aida Margarita Parada Rodriguez (born August 29, 1977) is an American comedian of Puerto Rican/Dominican descent best known for her appearance as a contestant on the eighth season of Last Comic Standing and as a commentator on The Young Turks.

She is also an actor, producer, blogger, and podcaster.

Early life

Aida was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Dominican Republic was taken shortly afterward. Her mother kidnapped her from her father in the Dominican Republic as a child and took her to the United States. In an attempt to shield her from her mother's boyfriend, her grandmother and uncle would later kidnap her from her mother's house in New York and take her to Florida. Her uncle was later discovered to have been killed in a hate murder. She attended Florida State University where she met her future husband, 'Omar Ellison.' She studied English and law but then dropped out before graduating because she became pregnant. IMG, a modeling company, had her work. Ellison and Ellison divorced later.

After her divorce from Ellison, Rodriguez and her two children moved to Los Angeles in the early 2000s. She went back to comedy for healing after an episode of anorexia and a divorce. For a time, she and her children were homeless and lived out of a car.

Shakira's Viral Diss Track Resonates Because Women Don't Cry After Breakups Anymore — They Get Empowered

www.popsugar.co.uk, January 18, 2023
Shakira dropped "BZRP Music Session #53," an Argentine rapper's hit song, which has since gone viral. The album serves as a diss track on Colombian singer Gerard Piqué's demise and allegations of bribery. In the 24 hours since it dropped last week, the song became the most watched Latin debut song in YouTube history. The record-breaking doesn't end there. It also soared to the top of Spotify's Top 50 Global chart, smashing the record of the most-streamed Latin track in a single day in Spotify history. This is a biggie, folks. Is the secret sauce behind its success the fact that it's a track putting a cheater on blast?Or is it because the song is much more about empowerment than it is about heartbreak?
