Ahmed Yasin Ghani Life

Ahmed Yasin Mousa (born 22 April 1991), also known as Yaseen, is an Iraqi footballer who plays for Swedish team Häcken and the Iraq national team.

For the first time in 2012, he joined the Iraqi national team, after having competed for the Iraq U23 team.

Personal life

Yasin is a Feyli Kurd who was born in Baghdad on April 22nd, 1991, in the famous Falastin Street. When Ahmed Yasin and his family immigrated to Sweden, he and his family were only one. Ahmed started attending classes in Rebro at the age of five. After graduating from high school, his family moved to Iraq in 2010.

The Yasin family had lived on the historic Falastin Street in Baghdad for many years but had left Baghdad for Sweden in 1987, just after the Iraq-Iran War had begun. The Yasin family returned to their home on Palestine Street, confident that their future lay in Iraq, but less than 18 months later, Iraq was dragged into another conflict with the US and its allies after Saddam ordered the evacuation of Kuwait, and the Yasin family fled Iraq for the final time.

At the age of five, Yasin began playing football. Salar, Araz, and Zeid's elder brother, Sasha, has also played for Rebro SK. Yasin loves boxing and tennis in his free time. Professional boxers often take boxing lessons. Yasin is a natural speaker of English, Swedish, and Arabic.

Club career

Ahmed Yasin Mousa is the youngest of four footballers. He had been playing football from the age of five, and he was looking up to his brothers, Salar, Araz, Zeid, who, like their younger sibling, played for Rebro SK, where Ahmed first started playing his youth football. He first learned football from his brother Salar, who was both a footballer and a coach.

Ahmed began his football career by joining BK Forward in 2007, where his eldest brother Salar served as a coach for one of their youth teams. BK Forward, a Swedish club headquartered in Rebro, Sweden, competes in the Swedish third division, was a winner in the 2007 championship championships. He joined the youth teams at the club, and after a year of playing for the first team, he made his debut. He joined the team in 2009 and played seven goals for the club, as well as captained the club's futsal team to the 2010 Mariedal Cup, where he scored two goals in the final. He was close to joining Halmstad and Portuguese clubs after the 2009 season.

Ahmed was the captain of BK Forward's futsal team. In 2010, BK Forward won the Mariedal Cup under his new direction. Ahmed was one of the best players of the tournament, scoring several goals, two in the final.

Ahmed signed a four-year deal with Rebro SK in 2010, at the age of 19. He made his official debut in the first team against Kalmar FF in the Allsvenskan on May 6th.

He played six games in Allsvenskan and one in the Svenska Cupen in his first season. He made his European debut against FK Sarajevo on July 21. Ahmed fought ten minutes for his team and lost the game by 21-0.

Ahmed scored the equalizer in the 12th minute against Ljungskile SK, scoring his first goal for rebro in the Svenska Cupen. He has appeared in more than 15 friendly games, scoring more than 5 unofficial goals.

Despite playing four times in his first season, he made his mark in his second season and appeared more often in 2012. In 2010, he returned to Rebro SK, where his career went from strength to success, with a goal set each year and achieving it by the end of the season. It took him a long time to settle in the first team, and the winger's first season saw only four brief substitute appearances, a total of 54 minutes. Starting eleven games in the Allsvenskan, he fell into the first team half-way through the 2011–12 season.

However, the club was relegated to the second division of Swedish football, Superettan, but the player's time in the second division was more about the player's development rather than obstructing his career. Ahmed played a vital role in the team's promotion back to the top flight, scoring six goals and supporting seven goals as he came to his first appearance on the right wing under coach Perpetua Ljung.

In the 2014 season, he played 29 games out of 30 in the Allsvenskan, scoring two goals and assisting for five goals, and the Swedish club was keen to keep track of him for next season. Ahmed left for Denmark after only six months on his deal.

Ahmed joined Aarhus Gymnastikforening In the Danish Superliga in the summer of 2015. Ahmed was unable to adopt quickly enough in Denmark, scoring only once and two assists in 17 league appearances, this time with AIK.

Yasin scored two goals and a five assist in 23 games for AIK in league and Cup in the winter 2016. And the club finished second place in the league last season.

Following the dissolution of the Swedish league, Ahmed joined Muaither on a four-month loan. Ahmed expressed his desire to maintain his fitness and relocate to a place with warmer weather. Ahmed made his Lekhwiya debut on January 4th. On Tuesday, he scored his first and second goals for his club as he helped Muaither bounce back from 2-0 down to draw 2–2 against Al-Khor. Ahmed Yasin scored four goals and six assists in 13 QSL games for the club, but it wasn't enough, as Muaither finished second with 20 points and was barred from the Qatar Stars League. On April 24, 2017, Yasin reported that his time at Qatar had been done 5 weeks before his deal came to an end, and he went back to AIK. In 15 July, he was forced to wait until the registration window.

Ahmed joined Häcken on loan from his parent club AIK on July 16, 2017. In the Swedish Allsvenskan, he made his debut against J-Södra the next day. He was first introduced in the second half and scored 12 minutes later. In 15 games for Häcken in the league, Yasin scored 7 goals and 4 assists, and the club finished fourth in the league.

Yasin returned to AIK in January 2018 on his first appearance as a member of the team's victory squad, scoring a goal against Syrianska in Svenska Cupen.

Yasin joined Al-Khor in Qatar on July 29th, the first in the country's longest football team. He was on hand to assist the injured Madson. In the QSL round one game against Al-Arabi on August 4, he made his debut on August 4th. After 14 games and 1 goal, he left the club in December 2018.

Yasin re-joined BK Häcken on a one-year deal, according to the company on Sunday, the 29th of January 2019.

Yasin will defysefully enter Turkey and play for Denizlispor on January 19, 2021. He has been with him until 2022, with one more year option.

Yasin returned to rebro on August 20, 2021, while recovering from an injury.

International career

Ahmed was selected to participate in the Swedish Under-17 national football team in 2008, but he did not appear in any matches with the team.

In a friendly match against Qatar, Ahmed made his debut for the Iraq Olympic football team on June 16, 2011. He was instrumental in the game, partly because of him. Iraq lost the game by 2–1. The coach was captivated by him after the match and called him up again for the team to compete in the Olympic qualifiers. In the qualifiers, he was the best player in the team. Due to a FIFA administrative ban, Iraq did not qualify for the 2012 Olympics.

In June 2011, he and a handful of other European-based players were invited to work with the Iraq national football team by coach Sidka. They were chosen from among forty Iraqi players that play in the European leagues. When he landed in Iraq, he attracted a lot of attention. He played many friendly matches against Iraqi clubs.

During his stay in Iraq, he trained with Baghdad-based Al Talaba. His parents were so impressed by his appearance that they gave him a job, but he refused because he already had a deal with Rebro SK and was not able to leave the Allsvenskan.

Zico called him up for the game against Singapore in February 2012 after being very good with the Olympic team, but he was unable to join the team due to a lack of time for preparations.

Ahmed Yasin was later selected in a 33-man squad for a training camp to be able to support in Turkey's preparations for the 2014 FIFA World Cup final round qualifiers in Brazil. He was later suspended ahead of the match against Jordan and Oman.

Ahmed Yasin made his first international appearance for Iraq's first team in an international friendly game against Lebanon that was part of the 2012 Arab Nations Cup hosted in Saudi Arabia on June 24. In the 32nd minute of the match, he came on as a replacement for Karrar Jassim. In Iraq's match against Sudan, he made his first appearance for the team.

Ahmed Yasin played his first appearance in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Japan on September 11, 2012, wearing the number 9 shirt. He had a good match and had multiple good goalscoring chances, but the game ended in a 1–0 victory for Japan.

Yasin was called into Iraq's squad for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup on December 29th. As the team defeated Palestine 2–0 to qualify for the knockout stage, he scored Iraq's second goal in the team's third group match. Yasin scored Iraq's first goal in the quarter-final match against Iran, defeating 7–6 at Canberra Stadium. Since lifting the international ban in March 2018, he scored the first goals of the national team.
