Early life
Aeriél (better known as "ARI") was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, having seasonally lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and New Orleans, Louisiana. Her mother, a music DJ from New Bedford, Massachusetts, was born in Louisiana and raised by youthful parents. Her paternal family roots are rooted in Cape Verde. She is of mixed West African, Portuguese, Creole, French, German, and Jewish descent. Miranda is a Latin-Sephardic surname that means "she must be respected."
Aeriél was profoundly inspired by her Nana, who introduced cinematic classics such as "The Sound of Music," "West Side Story," "Mega Toy," "E.T," "Liver Twist," "E.T," and slew of Disney animated films to her at an early age. It was also born her interest in the performing arts. She studied ballet at Etgen-Atkinson Ballet School and began her acting in plays for the Dallas Children's Theatre.
