Adrian Schiller (born 21 February 1964) is an English theatre, TV and film actor, notable for appearances in The Hour We Knew Nothing Of Each Other, Terry Pratchett's Going Postal (as the Banshee, Mr Gryle), Being Human, A Touch of Frost, A Little Chaos, The Danish Girl, Suffragette, Beauty and the Beast, Doctor Who (The Doctor's Wife, 2011), The Mercy and Victoria. Schiller is the face on the anti drink driving PIF "Moment of Doubt" on British TV for the DfT's 'Think! Road Safety' campaign since 2007.

In December 2008 the advert won the Best Casting at the BTACA awards.

Adrian Schiller's cause of death has been revealed as a 'major ischaemic stroke', his agent confirmed on Friday.  The actor, who was best known for his roles in The Last Kingdom and three series of ITV drama Victoria, in which he played Cornelius Penge, died aged 60 at home on the morning of April 3. Scott Marshall Partners, who represented him for more than three decades, added in a statement to PA Media: 'While his death has left his family and friends shocked and grief-stricken, it is of some comfort to know that he will have died almost instantly and not felt any pain.

On Thursday, the performer (left), who is best known for his appearances in The Last Kingdom and three series of ITV drama Victoria, was announced by his representatives at Scott Marshall Partners, who had worked with him for more than 30 years. Later posts from Schiller's social media page, as well as a link to a GoFundMe page (inset) asking contributions for his partner Milena and young son Gabriel (right on Schiller's shoulders). The fundraiser has collected over £7,000 in just 11 hours as of writing, with several contributors thanking the actor for his contributions to stage and film.
