Early life
Holmes was born in Wrexham, North Wales, and when he was five years old, he and his family migrated to Vancouver, British Columbia. He studied nursing at Langara College in part to please his mother, who said he wanted a back-up plan in case his acting career was unsuccessful.
Career
Holmes has worked in radio, but is best known for his television appearances, including Basqat on Smallville, Marcus Mitchell on True Justice, and Frank Pike on Arrow. Nick Barron's most notable role in 19-2 on Bravo, earned him the Best Actor Award in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role in 2017. Red Riding Hood, Elysium, and The Cabin in the Woods are among his film productions. In 2021, Adrian was cast as Uncle Phil in the show Bel air, a revival turned series drama of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Will Smith was given the stamp of approval by his father.
