Personal life
Narayan was born to singers Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan. In November 2020, he revealed his engagement with Shweta Agarwal that would take place in December the same year. They married in Mumbai on December 1, 2020, in a close-knit ceremony attended by a select few people. In March 2022, the family had a child, a girl.
Career
In 1992, Narayan's first playback song was for the Nepalese film Mohini, followed by a Hindi film Rangeela with Asha Bhosle. Udit Narayan and his father performed a song for Akele Hum Akele Tum in 1995.
Narayan's acting career as a child began when he was seen by producer and director Subhash Ghai at the 1995 Filmfare Awards function as the final performer for the "Little Wonders" troupe. Ghai has since signed him to his upcoming film Pardes, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhary. Salman Khan and Twinkle Khanna appeared in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, his second film. At the 1999 Zee Cine Awards, Narayan's appearance as Kabir Dhanrajgir received him the Best Supporting Actor award.
Narayan performed more than 100 songs and also released the album Aditya at Polygram Music (now Universal Music). "Chhota Baccha Jaan Ke" from the 1996 film Masoom was his most popular song. It was also his first major film award, as the Screen Awards critics' Best Child Singer in 1997. Narayan has also been named as the best child singer for the same song by the jury at the Screen Awards.
He obtained a degree in English contemporary music at Tech Music Schools in London in 2006. On his return to India, he was invited to audition for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, and he became the show's anchor. He toured North America and the West Indies in April/May 2008, performing with his father, Udit Narayan, during concerts.
In 2009, Narayan premiered Shaapit, directed by Vikram Bhatt. He performed four songs, as well as wrote and composed the film's title track, Shaapit Hua.

Narayan's fifth album, "Behka Behka," was released in August by the musician and writer T-Series. It was the first music video in India to be shot entirely in reverse and flipped backwards, as well as the first music video to feature his band Aditya Narayan & The A Team.

He appeared in the ninth season of Colors TV's most popular stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2019, where he finished as the runner-up, losing to Punit Pathak. Rising Star, which is a British reality television show, started in March 2019. He makes numerous appearances in Khatra Khatra Khatra in both April and May. On October 2nd, he unveiled "Lillah" on his YouTube channel. On October 7, a music video starring himself and Sushrii Shreya Mishraa was released.
