Adam Michael Rodriguez (born April 2, 1975) is an American actor, screenwriter, and producer.

Eric Delko, who appeared on CSI: Miami, is best known for his long-running appearance.

In Criminal Minds, he's now portraying Task Force Agent and the newest recruit to the BAU, Agent Luke Alvez.

Early life

Rodriguez was born in Yonkers, New York, the son of Janet, an airline ticket agent, and Ramon Rodriguez, an executive with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

His father is of half Puerto Rican and half Cuban descent, and his mother is of Puerto Rican descent.

Clarkstown High School North in New City, New York, graduated in 1993. Rodriguez aspired to be a professional baseball player at first, but after a high school drop, he turned to acting and appeared in a children's theater in New York.

He was a stockbroker before full time acting.

Personal life

Rodriguez divides his time between New York City and Los Angeles, and he has a third home in Puerto Rico.

In 2016, Rodriguez married model Grace Gail. They have three children, including son Bridgemont Bernard Rodriguez, who was born on March 16, 2020.

Rodriguez has appeared in advertisements, including one for Coca-Cola. In The X-Files, his first film appearance was as an extra. He appeared on Brooklyn South, Law & Order, Felicity, Roswell, and NYPD Blue.

He appeared in a variety of music videos, including Jennifer Lopez's "If You Had My Love" in 1999; Busta Rhymes' "Respect My Conglomerate"; Melanie Fiona's "I Call It Love"; and Wisin & Yandel's "No Dejemos Que Se Apague." He appeared in the pro-Barack Obama film "Yes We Can."

In 18 episodes of Roswell (Season 3) he appeared.

He appeared in CSI: Miami, the first cast of the series, which premiered in 2002. Later in the series "Hunting Ground" (season 9, episode 16), he produced and wrote it. He joined the main cast five episodes into season 8 and was listed as a recurring cast member for eight episodes. He returned to the main cast of season 9 and stayed on the show until it came to an end with season 10 in 2012.

Sandino was a protagonist in the 2009 Tyler Perry film I Can Do Bad Enough By Myself. He co-starred in Love and Debate, a smaller film. In season 4 of Ugly Betty, he played Bobby, Hilda's love interest.

He appeared in Let the Game Begin (2010), Magic Mike (2012), and "Magic Mike XXL" (2015).
