Adam Daniel Kinzinger (born February 27, 1978) is the US Representative for Illinois's 16th congressional district.

He is a member of the Republican Party.

He was first elected to Congress in 2010, winning the election to represent Illinois's 11th congressional district.

He was re-elected to Congress in 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018 to represent Illinois's 16th congressional district after redistricting.

Personal life

For wrestling a knife-wielding man to the ground and disarming him, the Wisconsin Red Cross named Kinzinger its "Hero of the Year" for 2006. On a street in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the man had cut the throat of a woman. In an interview, Kinzinger recounted the incident "I knew that I was going to be stabbed in the process," she said, "but I knew that it wasn't something I could wake up to... every day with the knowledge that I watched her die." The woman survived. In addition to the United States Air Force Airman's Medal and the National Guard's Valley Forge Cross for Heroism, Kinzinger was also awarded the United States Air Force Airman's Medal and the National Guard's Valley Forge Cross for Heroism for his efforts in this series.

On The Hill's annual "50 Most Beautiful People" list in 2011, Kinzinger ranked 5th, ranked by anyone who regularly works on Capitol Hill.

Kinzinger was recruited by Air Force Captain Riki Meyers, a fellow pilot, in 2011; they separated in 2012 after that. In June 2019, Kinzinger became engaged to Sofia Boza-Holman, a former aide to John Boehner and aide to Vice President Mike Pence. They married on February 16, 2020, and they will marry again on February 16, 2020. Christian Adam Kinzinger, their son, was born in January 2022.

Kristi Noem owes her cell phone hack to the January 6 Committee

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 24, 2023
According to Kristi Noem's office, her personal cell phone had been hacked and used to make hoax calls. The leak, according to the South Dakota governor, was due to her personal information's "mishandling" on January 6. Attorney General Merrick Garland, as well as several congressional commissions, are investigating the leak of not only her cell phone number, but also her family's personal information, including Social Security numbers.

After the NOTAM system crash, pilots were baffled over FAA's decision to ground flights

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 11, 2023
According to the FAA, due to a glitch with its NOTAM (Notice to Air Missions) device, flights were forced to land and remain grounded until 9 a.m. It shouldn't have caused such chaos, according to pilots. Now, they are asking whether the confusion is down to the fact that there weren't enough people in those safety centers to handle the phones, or if there was a rush to find by incompetent decision makers. Adam Kinzinger, a former Lt. Col. in the Air National Guard, posted on Twitter that there was 'absolutely no safety concern.'

If Trump isn't indicted over Jan. 6, Adam Kinzinger is concerned about the 'future of the nation.'

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 2, 2023
Adam Kinzinger, the outgoing Congressman, said he thinks the January 6 Committee will'do the right thing' and indict former President Donald Trump and if they do not, he worries "about the future of this country." Kinzinger, a vocal Republican critic of Trump who resigned from Congress ahead of the midterms, believes that the committee's 18-month probe carries merits criminal charges. 'I don't know what it is if this isn't a felony,' he said. 'If a president can incite an rebellion and not be held accountable, then there is no limit to what a president can or cannot do.'
