Adam Steven Deacon (born 4 March 1983) is an English film actor, rapper, writer, and director.
He is best known for his lead roles in the films Kidulthood, sequel Adulthood, and Anuvahood, his first directorial debut.
Career
In Stoke Newington, Hackney, Deacon was rescued by his English mother. His father is Moroccan. When Deacon was two years old, his father walked out on the family, and to this day, there haven't been any contact.
Despite the fact that his acting career began with guest appearances in Bill's New Frock, Shooters, Ali G Indahouse, and The Bill, he also appeared in the 2004 ITV drama Wall of Silence. Deacon's breakthrough came after he was cast in the urban drama film Kidulthood. He then worked with film writer and director Noel Clarke on a number of other projects until 2011, including the sequel Adulthood, 4.3.2.1., and the one-off television pilot West 10 LDN.
