Career

Chalmers had been cast member of Geordie Shore for the eighth season on April 4, 2014. After season 16, he left the show.

He was the ex of Maisie Gillespie in the sixth series of Ex on the Beach. On January 17, 2017, the series premiered. Chalmers debuted in 2019, a spinoff series of Geordie Shore, on MTV. He worked on an oil rig before he became well-known.

Mixed martial arts career

He won his first MMA match in May 2017, defeating Greg Jenkins. He has previously trained Muay Thai. He defeated Alex Thompson by KO on September 15, 2017, in his second professional fight at BAMMA 31 at the SSE Arena. His third and final fight for BAMMA, by TKO), was a win over Karl Donaldson on December 15th in his home town arena, the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.

Chalmers revealed in March 2018 that he would be joining Bellator. On May 25, 2018, he was in his first match against Ash Griffiths in the Bellator 200 event at Wembley Arena. In the first round, he won the title by electronic submission. Chalmers lost his first match as a professional wrestler in the third round after being defeated by American Corey Browning by submission. Chalmers won by a submission over Fred Freeman in June 2019.

On February 22, 2020, the Chalmers will face Austin Clem in a welterweight brawl at Bellator 240. He lost the fight by unanimous vote (30-27 x2, 30-26).

In an IGTV video posted on February 18, 2021, Chalmers announced his exit from MMA fighting.
